Welcome to IT FIX Galway! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including laptop, mobile phone, and computer repairs. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided IT FIX Galway offers repair services for laptops, mobile phones, and computers, including but not limited to hardware and software diagnostics, component replacements, and system upgrades.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • All price estimates are provided based on an initial diagnosis and may change if additional repairs are required.

  • If the final cost exceeds the initial estimate, we will notify you before proceeding with the repair.

  • A diagnostic fee may be charged if you choose not to proceed with the repair after receiving a quote.

3. Repair Process and Timeframe

  • Repair times vary based on the complexity of the issue and parts availability.

  • IT FIX Galway is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Customers will be notified when their device is ready for collection.

4. Warranty and Liability

  • We offer a 3 months warranty on repairs covering parts and labor unless otherwise stated.

  • The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, software issues, or tampering after the repair.

  • IT FIX Galway is not responsible for data loss. Customers are advised to back up their data before repairs.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate information regarding the device and any issues encountered.

  • IT FIX Galway is not responsible for any pre-existing issues not reported before the repair.

  • Customers should collect repaired devices within [Insert Collection Period], or storage fees may apply.

6. Payment and Refunds

  • Full payment is required upon completion of repairs.

  • No refunds will be issued for repairs successfully completed unless covered under the warranty.

  • Unpaid repairs may result in the device being retained until payment is made.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

  • IT FIX Galway respects customer privacy and adheres to GDPR regulations.

  • Customer data may be accessed only for repair purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

  • Customers should remove personal data if concerned about privacy.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • IT FIX Galway is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

  • Any claims for damage must be reported within 7 days of collecting the repaired device.

9. Third-Party Components and Software

  • If third-party replacement parts or software are used, we do not guarantee compatibility beyond the repair scope.

  • Customer warranties may be voided by the use of non-OEM parts.

10. Amendments to Terms

  • IT FIX Galway reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
